It takes someone with experience in all aspects of the music business to understand what it takes to make decisions that will direct the careers of aspiring and established musicians and artists. Debbie Grisham has that kind of varied experience. Beginning with her own career as a singer in a local band in her home state of Maine, she eventually moved to Nashville to pursue her dream, but later found out she got more of a thrill from working behind the scenes with other artists.
Debbie, along with her husband Doyle Grisham (long-time steel guitar player for Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band, and session player for artists such as Randy Travis, Dan Seals, Jim Glaser, Dr. Hook and many others), took over management duties for Fireside Recording Studio, which was owned by Dolly Parton and Porter Wagoner. Her experience there expanded to include engineering sessions and working with the publishing arm of the company.
Debbie currently represents the catalogs for successful writers such as Jim Glaser and Jimmy Payne who wrote Gary Puckett & The Union Gap’s platinum-selling song, “Woman, Woman.” She also represents Lisa Palas whose credits include songs recorded by Alabama, Reba McEntire, Randy Travis, Kris Kristofferson, Chris LeDoux, Lee Greenwood, The Whites, Conway Twitty, The Oak Ridge Boys and others. Her most recent recording, “That’s What Angels Do,” is the award winning inspirational hit on Anita Hall’s debut album, “Send Love.”
Not only does Debbie represent songs, she represents the artists! Before even officially founding Deb Grisham Entertainment, Debbie was the agent for Coral Reefer band members, Nadirah Shakoor, Doyle Grisham, and Jim Mayer a.k.a Uncle Jim. In addition, she is the primary booking agent for John Frinzi, John Patti, Radio Margaritaville’s J.D. Spradlin, Mike Watson, Michael Armstrong, Sandra Salling and Deborah Allen.
Deb Grisham Entertainment recently welcomed Keith Sykes, Latitude with Tom & Michelle Becker, Steve Kareta & Changes, Dave Ernst, Buzz Cason and Mr. Adventures to their roster of artists.
To her staff, Debbie is excited to welcome Paula Hersom as her associate. Paula is an energetic, determined go-getter with a genuine love for music. She has already proven to be an invaluable asset to Deb Grisham Entertainment.
“I am very passionate about every one of our artists. They each have their own unique style and its such an honor to work with them,” says Debbie.
In addition to running her own entertainment company, Debbie continues to assist the Coral Reefers coordinating all meet and greets and CD and photo signings for the Parrot Head Clubs across the country prior to all Jimmy Buffett shows.
At Deb Grisham Entertainment, our mission is simple: to connect quality, hard-working and talented entertainment with quality, respectable, and visible venues for which to showcase their artistry.
"While I am most proud of Debbie for being my wife and putting up with me for almost 23 years now, I am very proud of her accomplishments with her Artist Management Company, which she has run for several years now. It was no surprise to me that she would do well in a venture such as this because she has "come up through the ranks" in the music business. She has sung in bands ever since she was a teenager, been a recording artist, in her own right, done background vocal work in recording studios, book keeping, worked in publishing companies and helped me manage Fireside Recording Studio in Nashville during the mid 1980's. She even helped me with the engineering work at times in the studio. And, by going with me to the various venues that I have played over the past 25 years or so, she has seen the problems, etc. that need to be addressed in order to make music shows run more smoothly and bring a better liason between the show promoters and the artists. One of the best compliments to the success of a company, such as Deb Grisham Entertainment, is that artists are calling her to get show dates for them. As she is on the phone or on her computer from the early hours of the day until late at night taking care of her artists, I would say to Debbie - keep up the great work and long hours of devotion to your artists, BUT WHEN IS MY SUPPER GOING TO BE READY!!!!!"
"Debbie has been a joy to work with on setting up Coral Reefer Band Member Meet & Greets at Parrot Head Club Tailgate parties for the Jimmy Buffett tours the last couple of years."

"I have had the pleasure of working with Debbie for several years in all types of events from the smallest of gatherings to major concert venues. With each event, she treated each one, no matter the size, with the utmost care, seeing it through from beginning til the end, and making sure that even the smallest of details were taken care of. Her artists are THE BEST and each time, have taken the events I've been involved with to a whole new level of excellence in not only their performances but also making sure their fans went home with wonderful memories. Debbie is MY go-to girl and I always look forward to working with her.
